  • -Dear Sri Gandhiram,

The answers cover a wide range of period.

Hope you are able to read THILLAI & NATARAJA by B. Natarajan s/o
Historian SRB.. which will provide openings for your queries re
    Kochenganan & Hiranyavarman...
He deals with Kochenganan under the exclusive heading ...
He has dealt with related matters to Chidambaram...
And covers Thirumoolar too to some extent. Re Thirumoolar pls refer
    Adheenam publications.

Re Thiruvilayadalpuranam ... there are atleast two versions
    already...

Authors - timeframe - contents - commentaries ... has to be looked
    into as a separate thread..

Re Siva not figuring in Sangam Literature ...

Alamarselvan of South during Sangam & Northern Siva of Mt Kalilash -
Kotravai @ Kali turning Uma, becoming Uma, then becoming w/o Siva,
their fusion etc., have been discussed in our Group widely earlier.

you may have to read Archieves and also research works.... like PENN
DEYVA VAZHIPADU by Dr. Kalaikkovan.. and related books are quoted in
    this book also.

  • Does this not throw the global warming hype out of contention :-)

It is commonly mistaken practice to associate the sun spot effects /
irresponsible attitude of humans / ozone depletion etc to global
    warming.

Earth was significanly warmer and this whole cycle will keep
    happening.

If a snake was so huge, who else existed then and how big / powerfull
    were they ?

Is it not amazing how huge monuments etc were constructed when large
cranes and huge machinery were not available, the sphinx of Giza, in
the 2500 odd BC for example.
