RMHRC found 2 nilavarais during tehir recent research at thiruvalanchuzhi. One at the madapalli,other at the north-eastern corner of the perumandapam. Infact the second one is still in use with lot of bronzes. During their recent visit, they have found an early chola bronze of uma there.
Thanks Ram. But is there any official mentioning of Nilavarais in kalvettukkal (like the one nilavarai in Thanjai aranmanai and kadambur aranmanai - as mentioned in PS) or these are only fictitious ?
