1.Where is Kodumbalur in present day circumstances
2.He mentions Rajaraja rest in Big temple(When rajendra prays to the Brahadeswarar Any Proofs or evidence?
3.He also mentions a Sandeeswarar being blessed by Shiva and he used Rajendra as the model for Sandeeswarar? Is there such a sculpture or Is it just authors magination
4.Did Akilan actually intend to write a fouth voluma and cut it short as Mudivurai?
Incidentally, am also re-reading vengaiyin mainthan. I read it for the first time almost a decade back. Then, I was in the search of books abt the Chozhas after reading PS. I read Nandipurathu Nayaki and a host of others by Vikraman. Then, I read VM. Though, the book is abt RJC, I think VM is a better sequel to PS than NN. Not that I discredit NN, I found VM more interesting.
U had asked about Kodumbalur. This is what I found in www.pudukkottai.org:
Kodumbalur is located on the Pudukkottai - Kudumiyamalai - Manapparai main road about 35 kilometres from Pudukkottai. And it lies 5 kilometres away from the Tiruchi - Madurai highway. Bus facility is available from Viralimalai and Manapparai.
BTW, I have a query. How much of Vengaiyin Mainthan is really true? Are there any inscriptional evidences to prove that the 'manimudi' and 'rathna haram' were brought back from Lanka during RJC's period?
