    Dear Friends,

    We are planning a trip to Thanjai from Chennai. Ram spoke to me this
    morning that another Team may visit from Bangalore to Thanjai.
    Bangalore team will handle its own travel arrangements. We can
    handle the accommodation in Thanjai for those attending. We will get
    more information on Bangalore team after the meet - which should be
    in progress right now. Kamal, Ram & Suganya are handling this.

    Re Chennai Group:

    DEPARTURE : 03.09.2005 SATURDAY MORNING
    S I E T College Entrance on Mount Road / Teynampet :: 0600 hrs.
    Pick up points Southwards - Guindy / Tambaram.

    Breakfast :: Around 8 / 830 am

    UDAYARKUDI (After Sethiathope checkpost) 1200 hrs. Lunch there itself.
    Seeing inscriptions on Aditha Karikalan's murder. Gangai Konda Chozha
    puram - just seeing from the Vehicle.
    Kudanthai - bye pass.

    REACH : THANJAI ATLEAST AROUND 1530 HRS. STRAIGHT TO ASI OFFICE,
    FRESHENING UP. VISIT TO BIG TEMPLE. PAINTINGS IN FIRST FLOOR.
    BRING CAMERAS. WE WILL SEE THERE.

    CHECK IN HOTEL: AROUND 1830. TOUR AROUND THANJAI AND BACK TO TEMPLE
    2000 HRS. TEMPLE CLOSES AT 2100 HRS.

    DINNER / BREAK

    04.09 SUNDAY :: CHECKOUT 0830 HRS. TIRUVALANCHUZHI =PAZHAYARAI -
    DARASURAM :: LUNCH AT KUDANTHAI.

    REACH CHENNAI AFTER DINNER :: 10 Pm

    WE CAN SKIP UDAYARKUDI AND INCLUDE NANDHIPURAM. We will decide
    depending on members interest.

    Oops! If you could have started early about the trip, I could also have joined u. Because, we planned to go to Thanjai Tomorrow and return on Sunday. So, I think I miss a gud trip with u all...

    Any way, Can any one list a few places which I can visit near by Thanjavur, related to PS???

    Myself and Adhitha Karikalan are planning to join the rest of crew for the SEP 3rd trip in Chennai. I'm planning to buy the tickets to Chennai (from Blr) today. We are also planning to come back to bangalore directly from Kumbakonam.
