paranjothi marries a girl from this place ( in sivakamiyin sabatham)
one more trivia about the kali in thiruvengadu the neck of this goddess seems in a very odd ( an humanly impossible) angle. the local legend says neck is broken in the dance competition with shiva
Ahoramurthy: Real special & powerful one. (That too special abhishekam during Aippasi Gnayitrukizhamai). Durgai Durgai statue is very special in this place - facing west. Real beauty !!! Dancing Lord Natarajan is definitely shade better in beauty than Chidambaram (my personal view) Nandhi: It is believed that Nandhi has got injured during the war with Maruthuvasuran (you can see nandhi's statue with holes/marks in it).
> "Swetha " means white. This area "Venn kaadu" was Swetha Aaranyam. The famous dance dual between Nataraja & Kaali is reported to have taken place here.
> Annankoil & other Vinnagara Sthalapuranangal also are related to Swetharanyam, swetha pushkarani & swetha rajan getting eternity details.!
unga stomach burning enakkup puriyuthu. enna seirathu, venumana unga peril oru musuem thodangalama? namma annan dhiwakar athukku muzhu support koduppar!
Yes Dhiwakar!!! Even I saw that. One of my relative didn't got married till 30s. So their family members went to Thirumanancheri and prayed for that. And she got married within months after their return. But only thing is you have to go there again after marriage as couple.
