It is nice genetic evidence against the "Aryan Invasion" theory.
  • madam,

all things better than this have already been told by the great "Swami Vivekananda" more than 100 years back when the very theory was just propounded. but people were still maintaining the Aryan Invasion theory....

    So, ivangala ellaam thirutha mudiyaadhu.....
  • A good article indeed. When a westerners says something with
uncomprehensible vocobulary, our people will surely give a thought on
this. -:) I remember reading in 'Deivathin Kural'...Maha periyava
says that as per our shastras and vedas, the first man, as per Hindu
dharma, Manu was born in Tamil Nadu and Kalki avatharam will also be
    in Tamil Nadu...

Also, another interesting concept laid out by our periyava...he says,
Sanskrit is not foreign to India (as told by the Aryan invasion
theory) and Tamil and Sanskrit are contemprories. He justifies this
by stating examples like, we have words in Tamil which gives the
exact meaning as that of Sanskrit. He also says, we dont have exact
words in tamil for many english words, because english is foreign to
India. Since Tamil and Sankrit were counterparts they shared almost
similar vocabulary. Very interesting to think on this line which I
feel is quite logical. He states quite a good number of examples for
this. And thus he tries to prove that aryan invasion theory is a myth.

But our 'pagutharivalargal' needs proof and they cant go by beliefs..
they will say that they never had a great great grandfather because
they dont have proof for his existence...-:)
