Dear All There are two ways we can look at this statement Lets face it its a false statement because prior to Bristish Rule and Independence there was No India....So much for the aganada bharat and etc campaign of RSS We were and have always been small and large kingdoms witth different cultures and lineages so a statement that india has never invaded is false!!!!
Second is The expeditions of Rajendra was not to annex and stay in malaysia or indonesia it is alleged that it is two reasons one to settle internal power struggle and to protect the indian tradesman
Third If Asoka did not invade..if Harsha did not invade If Aurangazebv did not invade If Narasimha did not invade...If rajendra did not invade.....what the hell were they doing with hoardes of army... begs the question doesnt it?
Rajaraja and rajendra wanted an empire that stretched from ganges in the west to srilanka in the south and maldives in west to sumathra in east.Such an empire never existed before. But they achieved it.
Similarly akanda bharat is also a dream. It will come true one day.It existed earlier or not doesnt matter. It is an excellent goal for every Indian.Im not suggesting military occupation. It can come as a federation, like the current European union.
Last night I was watching the History Channel. There was a one hour special on the history of India. Of course there was no mention of South India. On top of this, they interviewed Ambassador Nirupam Sen of India's Mission to the United Nations, who emphasized that India had never used force against any other country.
Here's the program info for people in the US.

I want to send an email to Mr Sen shedding some light on his "facts". Any other ideas on how we can start educating at least the folks who are charged with representing India in International forums are welcome.
India not invading other countries has one exception--cholas.So what? One exception is acceptable.India was a peaceful country.even the countries they invaded were part of indian culture--srilanka,kadaram (hindu country). So it was a local scirmish only.We can say generally india never invaded other countries(1 exception is fine)
