We all understand the feeling. Our Chola Kings particularly Rajaraja and his son Rajarajandra Cholan are not given the due respect. Renaming the cities may be good. But ........
Remember the Transport corporations of Tamilnadu were named as the Pallava, Chola, Pandya, Chera transport corporations depending on the regions. I was so happy when this happened. But then what happened latter? There were people asking the government to name their part of the transport corporation after some small(may be important) king, and latter on some political personnel of yesteryear's, and latter ........
It went on to an unmanageable extent, when the government finally canceled all renaming. I am not against renaming, but in future our hero Rajaraja Chola should not be equated to a local politician in renaming.
