Not only the number of villages shrunk, the number of houses in each village is also shrinking.
Though the Chettinadu, Kanadukathan, Kottayur, Karaikkudi section is slightly better off,the Pudukkottai dt part - athangudi, konaputtu, kadiyapatti section is facing more damage.
Now a days i avoid visiting interior parts and restrict visits to Karaikudi, Kanadukathan section.
