    Dear Friends,

    After the traditional music - dance season,

    Dr. Nagaswamy is kind enough to motivate

    Sri Krishna Gana Saba, T. Nagar (Near Panagal Park -
    Muppathamman Koil ) Chennai to conduct an event
    to commemorate the 1000th year of the Big temple by RRC.

    Apart from the dignitaries like Vice Chancellor Thanjavur University Dr. M. Rajendran, Collector of Thiruvannamalai Dr. Rajendran, State Information Commissioner Ms. Sudha Shesayyan, Pulavar Rasu... Pulavar Mahadevan (who published Sivapathasekaran inscriptions !! ) and others rendering speech in the fore-noon, there are couple of more interesting items planned in the evening too.

    DEIVASENAPATHI STHAPATHI's son - who traditionally claims to be from the hierarchy of Thennavan Moovenda Velalan - who cast and contributed about 53 Bronzes to the Big temple - which included the Mahameru Vidangar, Panchadeha murthy, Thanjai Vidangar, Adalvallan, Umapattaragi etc., etc, and PERIYAPERUMAL ( recently discussed), Olagamadevi, Sundarar - paravai & co related to the Thevaradevar @ Chandrasekara (Siva) - Radhakrishna Sthapathi - HAS AGREED TO DEMONSTRATE ON STATE AS TO HOW A BRONZE IS MADE in Swamimalai !!

    This is one of the widely telecast programme in the Discovery Channel re the Big temple & related things !!

    Recently telecast last Monday too !

    Another one is the DANCE PROGRAMME - SAKKIAR KOOTHU - the One and the ONLY Traditional troupe from Kerala still performing !!

    Dr. Jain from Delhi of Sanskriti Foundation is participating that completing the Character as to be of NATIONAL significance.
