Hi vj, The time period of Rajaraja in this article, Raja Raja Chola I (985 - 1023 AD), seems to be different from widely accepted theory of 1015 CE as end of his era. Am I correct?
Yeah. We don't have any inscription of his after the 29th year of reign. Is it 1014 or 1015 is not conclusive...but 1023 is too far, since the next n next gen has already come on board by then !! Its an interesting study n theory as to why rjc was made to wait till 1012 to become co ruler, while he made his son co ruler as early as 1018 !!!
