1. கி.பி. 943இல் திருத்தவத்துறையாகிய இலால்குடியில் உள்ள மகாதேவர் திருமுன் நாள்தோறும் மூன்று சந்திகளிலும் இருவர் திருப்பதியம் விண்ணப்பம் செய்தனர். அதற்காகச் சிவகோசரி பிடாரன் தேசவிடங்கன் என்பார் நிலத்தானம் செய்தார் என்று முதற்பராந்தகனின் 37-ஆம் ஆட்சியாண்டுக் கல்வெட்டு இன்றும் காட்டுகின்றது.
இந்நிவந்தம் போதாமையால், 16 ஆண்டுகள் சென்ற கி.பி. 959இல் மேலும் சில நிலங்களை அவனே அறக்கொடையாக நல்கினான். நிலத்தினின்றும் பெறும் எள்ளுக்கு உரிய எண்ணெயில் குடிவாரப் பகுதி கோயிலுக்கும், நிலத்துக்குரிய செவ்வாரப் பகுதி திருப்பதியம் விண்ணப்பம் செய்வார்க்கும் தரப் பெறல் வேண்டும் என்று கல்வெட்டு மெய்ப்பிக்கிறது. சிவகோசரியார் என்பதால் முப்போதும் திருமேனி தீண்டுவார் என்பதும், பிடாரன் என்பதால் இவரே தேவாரம் பாடுவார் என்பதும் அறியலாம்.
திருவாதிரைத் திருநாளில் திருவெம்பாவை விண்ணப்பம் செய்வதற்காகவும், பாடியும் நடித்தும் தொண்டு செய்து வந்த 22 தளிச் சேரிப் பெண்டிர்க்கும் ஆடல் ரசன் ஒருவனுக்கும், அகமார்க்கத்தில் திருப்பதியம் விண்ணப்பம் செய்யவும் 16 தேவரடியார்களுக்கும் நில அறக் கொடையளித்தனர். அக மார்க்கமாதல், தேவாரம் பாடும்போது அபிநயத்தோடு பாடினர் என்பது தெரிகிறது. 2.
விருத்தாசலம் வட்டம் நல்லூரில், வில்வாரன்னேசுவரர் கோயில் இறைவனுக்கு, மூன்றாம் குலோத்துங்கன் காலத்தில் கி.பி. 1200இல் `ஆழ்விமழகியாள் பதினெண்பூமி நங்கை' எனும் பெயருடைய தேவரடியாள் திருவெம்பாவையில் இரண்டாம் திருப்பத்தைப் பாடி ஆடினாள். அவளுக்கு மூன்று கழஞ்சு பொன் கொடையாக அளிக்கப்பெற்றது. அதே கோயிலில், கி.பி. 1202இல் பூமி ஆள்வி மகள் பொற்கோயிற் நங்கை, விழா நாட்களில் சாக்கை எனும் ஆட்டத்தைத் திருவெம்பாவையில் கடைக்காப்புப் பகுதியைப் பாடி ஆடினாள்.

வழுவூர், வீரட்டானேசுவரர் கோயிலில், இரண்டாம் இராசாதிராசன் காலத்தில் கி.பி. 1127இல் மார்கழியில் திருவாதிரைத் திருநாளில் திருவெம்பாவை இசையுடன் இசைத்துள்ளனர்.
Thiruvembavai and Thiruvadirai must be much before 959.
If any one can confirm these inscriptions, then manickavasagar moves before 13th AD.

Looks it is Highly likely that First 12 Thirumurais were compiled by Mambiyandarnambi himself and Thiruvasagam being the 8th thirumurai, manickavasagar may predate RRC and how much may be the question.
