  • Dear Team

When I read sathasiva Pandarathar's muthar kulothungan book, I found that 'KULAMUTTRATHU THUNJIYA KILLIVALAVAN' word in his Second part.

Any one can explain why he is called like that?
  • Kulamutram is place name. Thunjiya means passed away Killi valavan is king name

  • Normally the kings will get  a name 'thunjiya' in connection with the death.
He died at the place called kulamutram.
It is not known whether it is a battle field .
Correct me if i am wrong.

  • Yes, it is believed that after second Kariyaru war, Kilivalavan, had chased the Padyian and Cheran towards Chera Nadu and died at Kulamutram at Chera Nadu.

But it is not very clear whether he died at an war or whilst present at this place.
