sir, sri vellai varanar(72) is presently an adheena pulavar of avaduthurai. he is a resource person for the contact classes the adheenam conducts. he was born in porayar. belongs to sozhapuram saiva chetiar lineage. he was a retired tamil professor of the panandhzh kasi mada college(1950-1985) he has written plenty of notes for the saiva treatises.along with kunchithapatham and vaidyanathan they are propagating saivism well.
my writings are more dependent on the sources in annamalai university library and the psychology department books. iam concentrating on the psycho-analytic traditions in saiva texts. in this sense iam indebted to prof.k.loganathan of malaysia ( [email protected] ). he is my guru. iam reading sri loganathan's works for the past 10 years through his net publications. he is also associated with ms.subasini kanagaretnam of THF.
