  • Dear Sankaranarayanan

As a devotee of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham, I deem it a great pleasure to inform you about the copper plate inscription given by Narasimha. That was given by Vira Narasimha, king of Vijayanagara. There are 10 copper plates in Sri mutt of various rulers. The earliest copper plate was given by Vijaya Ganda Gopala deva. All the plates were edited by the great scholar T.A. Gopinatha Rao. Addition was made by Dr.K.V.Ramesh. Sri. A.Kuppuswami again edited the plates with the additions. All the plates were published under the tile Copper plate inscriptions of Sri Sankaracharya Mutt. I am ready to give more details if needed.

    With warm regards
    Dr.G.Sankaranarayanan
  • Dear Sir,

Please provide them. I got this particular article from Hindu. Surprisingly Frontline, which is also from Hindu had given an article by a great historical scholar K.P.Sunil stating that the mutt was a branch of sringeri mutt.

Looks they dont read their own papers.

These list will help for people like me whoneed to confront many arm chair historians.

This plate was found during the excavation or with the mutt itself? Also pl give me details on Ambigapuram inscription on Kanchi Mutt.

Howdy, Stranger!
