The Erukattur people are in the the rock cutting for long. 2nd BC onwards. It looks Pillayarpatti must be much earlier.
Please help me on the article on Cauvery excavations.
One i thingi learned while searching for vinayagar. How people shamelessly copy things word by word from others and write ( ie cut paste). You go for a search and the same thing word by word repeated.
ERUKATTUR inscription was first found and read by Dr Nagaswamy.
Your searches will not reveal this.
There are other claims too !!
Yesterday during Ankorwat power point he pointed out that there is PAINT SCRIBBLING in Ankorwat - one of the small temples - mentioning of A NATIVEs NAME FROMSIVAGANGA with the year mentioned in 1905 !
But the British claimed tht they have found Ankorwat in 1925 - for the FIRST TIME !!
It happens.!
Incidentally PPatti is not postulated to be caved prior to 5th AD max. Evidently not of Sangam (2nd AD) origin.
can you please find the article on excavations in Lower cauvery Valley.
I have one more hope there.
How can some one build such a massive idol, ( I had an oppertunity to worship inside till the age of 24, now darshan is not allowed inside. The massiveness is understood only you go near and see w.o Kavacham) for a God, who is not in the state till5th A.D and suddenly such a big idol is built. If we assume that it is by an outsider ( of T.N) then how come the idol is so different.
We are missing a link and need to be searched. After all my searches now i truly turn to "Him" for answer and pray.
