Sorry, this is not really about pillar's of Ashoka. I have often read in this list, about the "The Cholas" book being available in a store or Exhibition near Ashok Pillar, Madras. It so happens that I might have someone who will be in Madras in the next few days & can buy and get the book for me.
My question: Is the book still available there? If yes, please send the details: book store (or exhibition).
Hi, New Century Book House, currently has the publishing rights for this. They had put in a book sale near Ashok Pillar and later in C P Ramaswamy Road in Alwarpet. They do not have anymore copies of the book. When I called up NCBH, they said they would plan a reprint in time for book exhibition.
