*Cholan samadhi to become tourist spot * Special Correspondent

THANJAVUR: Collector M. S. Shanmugham has said that the samadhi of King Raja
Raja Cholan (who built the Big Temple at Thanjavur) at Udayalur near
Kumbakonam will be improved and made a tourist attraction.

He visited the samadhi at Udayalur village on Thursday. The importance of
this place should be made known to the world, the Collector said after
inspecting it.

Later, he reviewed the development works taken up by the Government
departments in Kumbakonam panchayat union.
