    'Unknown' , pl see my earlier mails couple of months back, i am particularly interested in Suthaikoils built of lime and motar which is older than katralikoils which were first built around 600-700 AD - Parameshwara pallavan - siva kovil at Kooram near Kancheepuram - Arakonam road

    What I love are early 'murthis' -- earlier images seem to be
    finer, artistically.

    only PALLAVA one known of in bronze, holds cobra in one hand -
    one of very best- fine youthful face, prabha broken off, gana faces
