Agree Yuva. My only concern is with the "If it is found to be true" and the modalities for doing so. If excavations were carried out, would it reveal anything? Were other things buried along with the ashes in those days?
It was five years back, say 2002- 2003, I was in Madras Record Room reading and referring the records and interestingly found a record about Rajrjan Samdhi.
I immediately, went to Daily Thanthi office at Egmore and told the reporters about this and handed over the xerox copy of the document, written in 1898 by a westerner.
The reporter immediately contacted his person and requested him to visit that place.
That was how the Samathi of Rajarajan was brought to light.
