Thanks for the explanation. But does that matter? Ever since N.Ram took over the reigns at the Hindu, it has gone downhill. But that is a different subject matter. I grew up reading that newspaper, and was little sad to see it leaning towards an ideology that I did not agree with FULLY. But I thought its science and other columns were great; but since you point out certain things I like to re-evaluate those articles too :-)
