freinds, i find no big saivite temples inside the pattukottai town but on satellite map the town has an octogonal fort like structure in the centre. there is also a small kottai koil(0.5 acres).
the fort like structure and its outer wall appear in ruins and it is completely occupied by residential quarters.
somewhere i have read that a fort was constructed by marathis. if so what was the status of the town during cholan times? any light on this?
Last week Venkatesh mentioned that he found Vairam to be from his village, here I find Saatmeeka from my town. Good. May be if we build a database of the members, we might find a lot of common points :)
