  • Dear Venkat, Kaikesi was Ravana's mother. Lanka was designed by Vishwakarma, the architect of the Devas, I think. Bharata's wife was Mandavi. I think others answered the rest.

    Malathi
  • 1. Videha
    2. Maandavi
    3. Kubera
    4. R.K.Narayan - Malgudi
  • Was it Vishwakarma or Maya ? Not sure.
    Tidbits :
    1. Lanka was anyway designed initially for Kubera which was later
captured by Raavana (Kubera avoided a fight by moving to ALagapuri).
    2. Maya was Raavana's father-in-law.
  • Could be Maya too, Maya ws the designer of the palace for Yudhistra that was instrumental in the jealousies that kindled the Mahabharat war.
  • I too was thinking it was Maya, but when everyone wrote its viswakarma
    I thought I was wrong.
    Can anyone clarify?
