• You guys heard of "Project Gutenberg" named after the guy and the printing press... Well this is a site where they create free ebooks. If any of you have a really old copy of PS, you can photocopy the copyright page and send it to the address listed and he will tell you if that book can be ebooked... He has also given a simple test to determine that too... Check it out and we can fix the problem of PS not being an ebook...

  • Hi Guys!!!!
Thanks to Gokul we are having some interesting facts and discussion
    abt. chOzhaas....Gokul a heart-felt thanks to u:-)

Abt "VALLAM"....I'm pretty sure it is not the one in between Trichy
    and Thanjavur...

If I remember correctly in the 3rd part when Kundavai meets AruLmozhi
(Chapter Nandi vaLarnthathu-nu nenaikaren)...AruLmozhi asks abt
Vanthiyathevan Kundavai says he might have gone back to Kanchi to
meet his Ejamaanar...aruLmozhi recalls VT's promise that he wont
    leave chozha naadu...

Kundavai:avar chozha naattil irunthu koNdu enna seyvaar??appadi
unakku avarmel abimaanam irunthaal avar moothathayar raajiyathai
    chakravarthy-idam solli vaangi koduthu vidalaam....

that conversation clearly says Vallam isn't in Chozha naadu....

    ungaLukellam parichiyamaana maRRumoru "Kalki-Haler"-aana LavaNya
once told me that she had been to vallam when she was on her way to
Kanchi(which makes sense)...I hope Lavanya would throw more light on
    this topic....

    keep mailing guys,
    regrds,
    Ram

P.S:nam kuzhuvinarin eNNikkai naaLukku naaL uyarnthu koNdE
    iruppathai ungaLukku therivippathil perumagizhchi koLgiREn:-)
  • Hi,

I remember that there is one small village called
VALLAMPADUKAI in North Arcot District. The same may be
the VALLAM mentioned in the Noval.
