In December 2007 issue, Vadakku Vaasal, monthly magazine carries an advertisement that Vaiko to speak on Ponniyin Selvan at Delhi Tamil Sangham on 21st December 2007.
I heard Vaiko speeches on Tiruvaachakam during Ilayaraja's Function. PS group members at Delhi, I think, will not miss the speech.
Just on the evening when MDMK finalised seat sharing with AIADMK for last Asembly election, Tholthamizhar Naagareegam (Adhichanallur to Harappa) casette was released in Thevaneyapavanar Library - Mar 2005 or so. I released the casette on behalf of Indian Science Monitor - thanks to TKV Rajan - and Vaiko received. Marine Archlgst Badrinarayan was presiding over !
When I spoke of Ponniyinselvan and our PS Group, he was very much enthusiastic and wanted to know more details on RRC and also of our group activities.
His love for RRC was very much explicit.
We have Arunachalam Vaidhyanathan (NDTV) and other stalwarts from our PS Group in Delhi.
As far as I know Vaiko is very decent politician and a true Tamil lover. One of my ex-collegue is now MLA of his constituency, and his candidature in last moment was announced by Vaiko during that election period.

Though I know Vaiko personally..I did not know about his interest in Ponniyinselvan. Anyway I will be there when he delivers his speech at the Tamil Sangam in Delhi. Vaiko knows me as Delhi Sridhar..that's the pen-name under which I wrote in Ananda Vikatan and Junior Vikatan before joining NDTV.
Dear all, Hope things are fine with you. I am fine here. Had been silent for quite some time in this group. I went to the literary tak given by Vaiko at the Delhi Tamil Sangam, yesterday. It was truly amazing. The hall was jam packed to hear Vaiko speak. One has to listen to really appreciate his talk. Vadakku Vaasal Editor, Mr. Penneswaran mentioned to the audience that PSVP yahoo group members had sent their wishes for the event. On the whole it was a great time to listen and not a second I felt bored or dragging.
For those of you who are interested in listening to his talk can contact Mr. Penneswaran for a copy.
