All of us wonder at somepoint on how as you read a new author with a different style - the first few pages are tougher to read and then as you get used to the style n print + the overall flow, you are just running along - flying through the book..

I am reminded of an anecdote of Dr. Issac Asimov, the well known science fiction writer.
He was a refugee from Russia. His mother, enrolled for a course in English after he became famous. She was a bright student and learnt fast. Her teacher came to know that she was the mother of Asimov, and commented: "No wonder, you are intelligent and learn fast as you are the mother of Asimov." The lady was offended and retorted, "No wonder, Asimov is intelligent and popular. He is my son." The genes flow from parents to children.
Asimov had published his first novel when he was a student. During his Ph. D. viva, the panel spent only ten minutes on his thesis, and spent over 40 minutes on his science fiction novels. His apprehension, fueled by his friends and colleagues, that the panel might doubt his research credentials (because of science fiction mentality) was cleared in the first fifteen minutes.

As "Danal" Thangavelu would say in KALYANAPPARISU ,"Subjecttukku vanga! subjecttukku vanga"!! ...
