VISITHRA CHITHAN
  • Jithan .. chithan are bound to remind us of the contemporary Tamil
    movies.

Visithra Chithan is wonderfully woven Fiction by our beloved Vizag
    Dhivakar.

Mahendra Pallavan s/o Simhavishnu was known by several other names and
he has named the caves he made under various such names, the last one
being Mahendra Caves - described Dr. Kalaikkovana / Mu. Nalini in
    their Mahendra Caves Book.

Just prior to 600 AD, Mahendra @ Visithramuni was professing Jainism -
    - was to have become its Religeous Head, under the guidance of his
maternal uncle Vajrathanthi. Vjthnthi's daughter Kadambari falls in
love with him and it is this love, which was used as a bait by Exile
Pandya Heir-apparent Maran & his Saiva Guru, to bring out Visithramuni
    of the Jain Pasali.

The Pulikesin, with the help of a sect of Jinars, plotting against
Pallava King, b/o Simhavishnu, and Visithra coming to know of this
realising the fact that protection of his Motherland is more important
than relgious affliations and thus helping his paternal uncle in
protecting Kanchi.... with the epilogue on conversion to Hinduism.

Whole story takes place outside Tamilnadu - more in Andhra and
Karnataka locations.. with lots of supporting evidences for very
    interesting detail.

Hearty Congratulations Dear Dhiwakar, Very interesting work.

    regards/ sps
