Theres an article in the Hindu today (15 Feb 2007) - last page of the main paper about this... they show some coin as evidence, it also talks of how unattractive Marc Anthony would have been...
Have the original cd with Elizabeth Taylor playing Cleopatra. Trust me i dint see anything wrong with this Cleopatra! ;);) But the movie was quite horrible!! Only the last few war sequences were good.
In the photo of the coin, the letters 'cleopatra' is very much clear. 3BC I dont think English was in vogue, i think english came a bit later. Does this mean in roman or whatever language they have printed the coin, the spelling (and alphabet) is the same as in English?
-Hi The modern English alphabet consists of the 26 letters of the Latin alphabet. The Latin alphabet, also called the Roman alphabet, is the most widely used alphabetic writing system in the world today. The Latin alphabet evolved from the Greek alphabet which is based upon the Phoenician alphabet.
