My sincere condolences to you and your family. It is difficult to take the loss of some one very close in the family, let the Almighty give you all the courage and strength.
will be much obliged if messages are sent over there.
I will the honour of responding individually - which I will do for the messages received so far..
Dear Venkat,
Pls .. I am short of words to reciprocate ..
My 86 year old mother - Rathnammal (that's why I am always having a spcial attachment to you - Dear Sri) - has been leading a kind of saintly life at Govindapuram - near Thiruvidaimaruthur - where past 3 Kanchi acharyas are well connected. There is a samadhi of 59 th Acharya - which my mother did not want to get polluted - so preferred and returned to Chennai and has been living over here since Diwali again.
She only introduced me to Kalki (some one else did write of his mother - which I recalled then .. about a year back) .. way back..
Hours after cremation in Chennai, we performed immersion of remains in Govindapuram on the banks of Cauvery ..
While performing so - I could not help but recall - how memorial the temples would have been constructed - more on the banks of rivers !
May be Govindapuram is an excuse to get connected with river Ponni !
Wish you all a wonderful New year and years ahead..
