ananta varaman at the age of 5 lost his father with the help of veerachoda he growned up.
had a war with kulothungan twice second war is famous for kalingathu parani on 1110. he left mukalingam to varansi cuttack killed karnadeva of somavamsi and ruled kalinga till1147 during that period he constructed a great puri temple under the influence of ramanujar. (kulothungan died during 1118. even he married daughter of chola kombadini as a mahadevi(first wife)
