I dont know why people get offended when we debate about issues related to tamil language in a tamil literary group.We did not politicize the issue.It was politicized by politicians.We also used a civilized language in debates.Many others participated in it enthusiastically.
I can understand if the moderator willingly steps in and putting a polite fullstop.But instead people contact moderator secretly and all our posts get deleted as if we discussed some terrorist activities.When I dont like a thread I dont open it,simple.
we have discussed totally unrealted activities in the past.Agreed this is a ponniyin selvan group,but how long will we talk just about pallipadai,mahabalipuram temples and rajendra cholans expeditions?Many group members here have just read ponniyin selvan only.They dont know much history except ponnyin selvan,so naturally very few who know about historical facts talk and others just remain passive.

The whole idea is to kindle discussions and interest in PS and Kalki's works...People join the group like I did after doing a google search and saying aha theres a group devoted to PS and join....
Its not that we ve exhausted PS discussion and we vere away we are veering away becuase a few individuals includig myself just argue their sides of things passsionately...whether its PS or not there will always be passive listeners!!
Just becuase we have exhausted discussion topics doesnt mean the next thing we discuss is Ganguly's form or Britney Spears baby!!!
