Pandavas did not rape captured women like mohammed ghaznavi or ghouri did.They did not kill people who did not fight them.They killed their enemies in battle field.Common man was no way affected by the war.It happened outside the city where two armies fought.
Comparing this with arabs who raped women,pillaged temples,murdered innocents.destroyed idols and took all females as slaves isnt correct.
Even in kalinga war asoka killed only soldiers.He did not hurt the common man.This tradition was maintained by many indian kings.Harsha,kanishka,cholas,pandyas all maintained this trend.All the books hailing ouir kings deeds will say "kulothunga killed 1000 elephents,10,000 soldiers,captured 3000 horses etc".They wont say "kulothungas army raped 10,000 women,broke down 5000 temples and enslaved 10000 people".
The biographies of mohammed ghaznavi,mohammed ghouri,akbar,babar all delighfully explain how many women were raped,how many kafirs were murdered and how many temples were broken and how many were converted at sword point.They considered it as great deeds.
