  • Tiruvanchikklam, or Mahadevar Patnam at a distance of one and a half naligai walk  from Kodungallur. This city was ruled by ceraman Peruman , south of the temple is ceraman Kovilagam and fort Cerattiamman  was the name of the queen, and vadamala nayar was the minister.. This temple was also known as Mela Chidambaram. This temple had property which earned 16,900 panams per year. The govt paid 148452 and 5/8  Virarayan panam per annual. The image of god was brought by two presit from chidambaram. The images were named as Chandrasekara and Sabhabhathi. In Kollam Year 993, one Pandiya king visited here and offered money for Kumbhabhishegam.
