All might be knowing that Indian Rupee has joined elite group and got the following symbol.
Being an Indian, we can have this symbol into our computers and use in our documents.
Procedure to install and use this font into your computer: 1. Download the file attached in this mail (Rupee Foradian.ttf) into your desktop. 2. Copy the above said file from your desktop to (C:WINDOWSFonts) Font folder under Control Panel. 3. Then as like all fonts, the font name Rupee Foradian will appear in all software. 4. Just select the above said font in status bar and press the above the Tab key ` to put our Rupee symbol in your Word or Excel file.
Please note that this Rupee symbol will Not be visible in soft copy to the recipient, if he does not have this font in his computer. It will take some months for our symbol to be part universal code. We hope that in time to come our symbol will be part of keyboard itself like $ (dollar) which is not far away!
