  • Hi Vj,
I agree with you here as people whoare not aware ofhimwill get confused with
such a mistake in the name. I hope that they go for a review before printing an
article with the original author, and if they dont then they must start this to
avoid such errors. I was also confused a little between 'Nagasamy' and
'Nagaswamy' as I think in pronunciation you dnt stress on 'w'. But then I
checked most of the his books and he writes with 'Nagaswamy'.
  • Thanks Vijay for posting.

The 2 points of Kudavayil sir are intresting:

    1. He insists,
“History is not about learning the past, it is learning from the past.”

    2. Civil
engineers who work on temple architecture need adequate knowledge of
traditional architecture. Temple architecture could be a part of the syllabus
for civil engineering.” He also implies on the need for a comprehensive course
in temple study that combines inscriptions, art and architecture.regardssankar

Here the language of stone surpasses the language of man
  • Hi Vj,
I think you did not get my point. I know Hindu got the wrong initials. What I
was saying that when we met in Chennai and talked about Nagaswamy then it seemed
to me that you weresaying like 'Nagasamy'. So i was little confused about the
surname. That's why i said that it might be that in Tamil pronunciation, 'w' is
not much stressed and it seems like Nagasamy.
