ancient wisdoms in hinduism-6
  • Yama replies nasikedhas:
The body is a big organization of physical principles
The ontological principle within it has no attachment with the material body
    The ontological principle is eternal
After death the physical body is re constituted
But the ontological principle does not change
It lies in thr debth of the mind. The mind is a cave. It is deep and dark.
Only extreme concentration turned inwards may know the ontological principle within oneself
It the great cosmic principle that directs all the activities of the lives, earth and heaven.
The cosmic principle cannot be experienced by sense organs, it cannot be estimated by human ideas also.
When the great cosmic principle does not support the life it becomes to be known as dead
But one who knows this fact does not die in the cosmic sense as he joins the cosmos
To know the cosmic principle you must deach from sense data
The mind is superior to sense data, but the ontogenic principle is superior to it and the cosmic illusion is superior even than that. The cosmic principle superior than all.
When the cosmic principle is understood to be his part in him one knows the highest truth.
The ontogenic principle joins the cosmic principle when a man realizes this by his inner wisdom
    Then he ceases to die
