Now let us see some Ramar Temples, which we can date - before kamban

Though there are divyadesams with perumal named as Rama or Raghava like - Thirupputkuzhi, Thiruvallore, Pullam Podamkudi, Velliyangudi etc, the main moorthi represents Vishnu with sri devi and Boodevi rather than Rama.

I searched further and rounded three temples.

1. Ramar sannidhi in Parthasarathy temple. Thiruvallikeni.

We have seen in many pasurams alwars mention perumal as narasimha, Varaha, Rama and Krishna, hence some may argue that the same is applicable for this temple also.

But on closer scrutiny, we find that he had not mentioned the" mannada swami" ranganatha but there is a pasuram on Mannada swami of triplicane by Pei alwar as" Thalal Ulagalanda vasve kol? He did not sing on Parthasarathy but only Mannada.

Hence it is possible that the 5 shirines of Triplicane namely Parthasarathy, Ranganatha, Varadaraja, narasimha and Rama might be older ones.predating Alwar
