Nandhini subject is also a memerising subject like her character ..
Like Udyarkudi inscriptions formed basis for Ponniyin Selvan plot, Pazhuvur inscriptions formed basis for characterisation of Nandhini. Easwara Griham temple, that temple Devanar's daughter (father is the diety of the temple) (Nakkan) "Akkaara mangai" became the wife of a Chera King (who was a Pazhuvettarayar).
SII 13 - 154 says : Avani Kandavapura Devanar magalar Nakkan Thillaiyazhagiar becoming the queen of Rajaraja I (who was later known as Panchavanmadevi - in whose memory Rajendra built a temple near Pazhayarai!)
Akkaara Mangai input should have been shaped up as Nandhini character by Kalki. He did not discuss Thalicheri in detail, though in Thanjavur temple the inscriptions run to about 150 feet and occupy the entire Northern compound wall. Though Nandhini was not depicted as a Dancer, the materials collected on Thalicheri should have been used in shaping up Sivakami character in SS by Kalki!
It is also interesting to note from Krishna Sastri: In Thiruvottiyur temple, the donor (of a gift) was a Devanar daughter, who was the WIFE OF (AGAMUDAIYAL) of a certain person, makes it appear that they were also married & lived like other family women. Such women even collected taxes on behalf of the Government and donated liberally for religious and social causes..
