This also reminds me about Sangam litrature mentioning about Mouryan wealth hidden in a secret chamber under Ganges. will try to locate and send that. ( already muruga in satapata brahmana is pending from me)
This shows
1. The culture was uniform. Both ends of the countery had a rich and uniform tradition and the only difference beingthat differentlanguages were spoken.
2. Sangam poetry is much older. Defenetly TN must have had a Litrary tradition in that period.
3. If peopleprove that sangam poetry is 2nd AD,We can stillargue that there must have been a litrary tradition in 6th BC and as the legend says would have lost in Then Madurai and Kapadapuram.
4. As our members said , inview of the continuous population, history is still burried.
