It is one thing History giants like KAN, R Nagaswamy, Pandarathar... or subsequently Kudavoil Balu Sir, Airvatham Sir, Nadana Kasinathan, Vasanthakalyani, Marxia Gandhi (omissions inadvertant) Dr. Nalini - discussing / writing on History...
It is entirely different thing to learn such things from :
Dr. Kalaikkovan who is practising Eye Specialist..
Kudanthai Sethuraman - who was Major Bus Businessman - RAMAN & RAMAN - Kumbakonam - ( which was subsequently acquired by State Governemt and operated under CHOLAN TRANSPORT... ( Pollachi Dr. Mahalingam's Buses became CHERAN and Madurai TVS became PANDIYAN) contributed a lot. His speciality was fixing the dates of events as per astronomical data - in LN Swamikkannu pillai was specialist and to my knowledge there is no one else is following this sytem after the demise of Kudanthai Sethuraman.
Likewise Dr. Jayabarathi is also a Medicine Doctor... whose contribution to History, Culture, Heritage and almost everything worth discussing has been touched by his magic hands.
I used the word APPROPRIATE .. because VIJAY is also a Non- Professional as far as History is concerned.
Vijay is Singapore based FINANCE WIZARD in MARINE BUSINESS.
And Vijay has already booked his place in the HISTORY with open appreciation from Giants like NASA Naa. Ganesan, Vizag Dhivakar, Seethalakshmi madam and similar ones...
And of course we are proud to be assembled here .. !
