மல்லையில் சிற்பங்களை செதுக்கி நம்மை மனம் கிறங்க வைத்த அந்த சிற்பிகளின் கூரிய ஞானம் இந்தக் காலகட்டத்தைப் பொறுத்தவரை இன்னமும் ஆச்சரியமான ஒன்றுதான். ஒவ்வொரு சிற்பியும் ஒருவகையில் தன் கூரிய ஞானத்தை அற்புதமான வகையில் எங்காவது ஒரு சிற்பத்திலாவது காண்பித்துவிடுவான். ஒவ்வொரு சமயம் அந்தக் கூரிய ஞானமானது வழக்கமான இறை உருவத்தினின்றும் திசை மாற்றி அவனையே இழுத்துச் சென்று வேறு சிந்தனைக்கு அழைத்துச் செல்லும் போலும். ஆனால் அங்கும் அவன் ஒரு அற்புதத்தை நமக்குப் பரிசாகத் தருகின்றான்.
