MADURAI: Thirunavukkarasar Music Research and Music Educational Trust will be conducting the Fifth International Tamil Music Research Seminar on March 7 and 8. The theme of the seminar is 'Musical Instruments in Ancient Tamil Literature'.
Starting from Tholkappiyam the seminar would be discussing on Musical instruments found in ancient Tamil literature like the five great epics Silappathikaram, Manimegalai, Civaka Cintamani, Valayaapathi and Kundalakesi. Medieval literature would also be discussed says a press release. Last date
