If you trace back to the causes of the failure of the revolt...
there was no noble cause behind the revolt from the point of view of the then raajaas...
each buddy has his or her own personal cause... And more importantly they did not even unite to fight against the british.... That really weakened these people...
Coming to what I wanted to ask,
I read somewhere that somebody has written a sarithra novel in which vandhiyadevan goes to jail, accused of the murder of karaikaaalan and comes back from his prison and marries kundavai...
Does anybody know something about this book... ( i really dont want to read.. vandiyadevan.. jail.. crap.. nonsense)
This is Nanthipurathu Naayaki by Vikraman. U will not get the print version in the shops. Some PS members may help u out. THis is the only immediate Sequel to PS. But if u expect the kinda PS quality, it falls well below that.
I remember, there was a meeting with Mr. Vikraman sometime back. DId any anybody ask him, why he had left so many open threads of stories in his Nanthipurathu Naayaki.
