A Proposal - all members pl see
  • Dear all

I'd like to request all members to provide a feedback to
http://tamil.sify.com to add a hyperlink to our website
www.varalaaru.com. This will increase our visibility.

If any of you know sify venkatesh or anybody in sify we can approach
better. (Sathish - can you ask Mr.Madhurabharathi if he knows anyone
in sify ?). I think we should also approach kalki to publish
    something about our website.

All you need to do is :

    * Go to http://sify.com/feedback.php?site=Tamil

    * Personalize the contents of the email below :
  • Dear Gokul,

Thats a good idea.We can do it. I am going to Pune tomorrow for a
weeks official trip and will be back on oct 2nd. If time permits I
will talk to Madurabarathi today evening. else I will get in touch
with him after I come back. If he knows anyone he surely will help.
Anyway, right away I will send him a mail regarding this.
  • Dear Gokul
that would be a very nice Idea
We will get that in motion
  • Dear Gokul/All,

I know Mr. Venkatesh well, but at present Mr. Anna Kannan (whom also I
know) is in charge of tamil.sify.com. I mean, I had/have been in
nonprofessional contact with both of them, like Rajini Ramki.

What we see in tamil.sify.com is not hyperlinks to external sites,
except thisaigal.com which is a different arrangement. You wont find
links for vikatan, kumudham, etc. The other magazine links are within
the tamil.sify.com domain itself. They are the so called
"sitridhazhgal". Sify.com has an arrangement with those sitridhazgal
to bring their magazine content online. That is why they have allotted
    a directory for each magazine.

But I feel persons following those links will generally have different
interests than that of varalaaru.com, though a link anywhere in Net
surely counts to increase varalaaru.com site's hit rate and visibility.

Regarding an article in Kalki, I will try my best.

    Krupa
  • I also can check with Mr.Madhurabarathi, whether he can include the
link in the ezine "Thendral' for which he is the editor.
will let you know if its possible after talking to him.
