Hi, Bagh caves are Buddhist caves of early 5th century, located in Madhya Pradesh. These caves are famous for the mural paintings of that period. The caves are in very bad state due the seapage of water through sandstone. Reinforcements are done by ASI, but dnt till when it can save this site.
Dear Saurabh, Thanks for going to, & photographing poor Bagh. Years ago a friend from here, very knowlegeable on India, told me not to bother going there, he'd been very disappointed. Now I see why, and that was way back in '80s. Here's an old photo I stole from ASI years ago. Didn't see this handsome attendant w fly whisk among your photos ---prob. fallen away.
