Namakkal has 2 caves - one with Narasimha as main deity and another anatasayi. one of them was called Adiyendra Vishnu Gruham.

An interesting aspect about the Narasimha is that he has no nails in the abhaya mudra.
However, there would be blood stains in the palm.

It is a curious depiction unless the blood (paint) stain is later addition.
