  • Chandru - The simplest way I can suggest is to get it scanned as soon as possible.  Scanning a document is not illegal, only distribution in return for money can cause legal problems. It may take some time however. It is possible to do it at home if you have a pc with a scanner hooked to it or some copy shop may agree although it will tie them up for 3 days atleast and they will charge for it. If you have relatives abroad there are specility book scanning places that will take very good care of the original and do a professional job of scanning the entire book. You could even ask at the austrailian library if they can scan it for you.

But scanning is the safest way to save these treasures from being lost forever. I am asking my father to bring me the thyaga bhoomi original that we have at home this time to US for
    scanning.
