    I'd very much like to see that list also. Thousands?
    My problem is, which 'kovils' are the most ancient
    &/or important ones? I go to TempleNet and can't
    tell which are the really old ones I want to know about.

    Also, the new spellings are confusing me. See, I have
    an enormous database of all the ancient sites in India
    and am adding info all the time. I just don't want to
    have too much about recent sthala.
    I'd really appreciate a list of Mahendra's caves, for instance. . .

    It is a good and interesting thing.

    Best thing will be to have a common table and everyone
    who has information can enter the name and its
    history/significance.

    Who has information can download the table (excel
    sheet file) and enter the information they know and
    upload it back.

    If the table has the following columns, it will be
    good.

    Slno., Name, Location, Sthala History, web links if
    any, name of the person creating this entry (if many
    people contribute then name with commas)

    Please let me know the comments.
