I cant stop laughing after reading Diwakars mail and thinking of the context of our discussion. I was laughing like mad and my neighbours at office are giving a puzzled look at me. I just cant control.
People who missed yesterdays return trip cant understand this and these things cannot be explained in the group as well...those people who were there in the discussion, sure to roll out laughing..
satish i can laugh as much as i want , i am at home if you laugh even you'll be at home soon
sathish, its your duty to explain dhiwaker's words okay i shall
members sorry if this is damaging to vanthiyathevans image building
the weaker aspects of chola family were thouroughly analysed
and many members on the return trip were bullied into thinking that vanthithevan's food problem was what made him veettooda maapillai with a dominant wife like kundavi. now read dhiwakers mail in the form of vadivelu' vasanam

Mrs.Vidya Ramakrishnan It is really amazing to read your childhood exp You & your brother are also lucky to have such elders. Can I know, in which year it all happened? Now the present day families spent more time in-front of idiot box....... boxes JK
Thx for reply. Up to '90 only reading habbit exist..... and story telling lasted only upto '80. My mother also used to tell lot of stories (mainly her favourite VIKRAMATHITHAN and from some very old films.......) It all golden days...... my childrens lost that pleasent moments. Even my mother is also fully addicted to TV.
Mr.Harikrishnan of Marabillakkiya, has written a book titled 'Anuman - vaarpum vanappun". A masterpiece. In the foreword, he writes that his mother introduced him to Rajaji's chakravarthy tirumagan when he was able to read letter by letter (ezhutthu kooti padikaratha eppadinga sollaradhu?). So what age we start reading letter by letter? around 4- 7 years?
I think stress management has other options too. Pls include a column : other or non-above. sps

Though it was difficult to digest, some one quipped earlier while discussing Sialapthikaram : DON'T TELL ME YOU HAVE READ ALL THE LITERATURE IN THE WORLD.

Member Sivaram Kannan suggested that, we should get rid of yahoo groups and move to forum based website. Initially I thought about the same but didn't pursue since I have no idea how the messages are posted and skeptical to Sivaram's idea. Just wanted to get a feel of other member's thought.
Advantages
1. Easy to edit the message already posted for correction, update wrong information, keep the information upto date if it is outdated. Keep certain information upto date in the first post or common post instead of going through tons of emails
2. Can add more features (wiki, etc.,) which are not available in yahoo groups right now.
3. Members can communicate through private messages if required
4. Easy to moderate.
Disadvantages
1. Few members are very comfortable in checking their new emails instead of visiting a forum and check for new messages.
2. (Very)Few members don't have access to external websites @ work sending emails are very easy from work email.
3. Heavy traffic forum site requires a good hosting provider to keep the site up and running otherwise it may be expensive to maintain.
4. Restriction to new changes, why change?
o Etho solra, Nalla idea, forum based site try pannalaam o Yahoo groupsukku enna korachal? Onnum matha venam o Archive site pothum, innoru site vera ethukku? o Nee yarappa ithellam seiyarathukku, vera vela illaya? o Enakku ethunnalum ok
