In many shakthi temples, one can see the Mahameru in front of the main deity. Especially so, when ambal is worshiped as the main deity and not as a consort of the main god
Infact mahameru is almost certainly present in front of "Raajarajeswari" goddess. You can even see this in paintings of raajarajeswari.
Kanchi kamakshi temple has maha meru. Mookambika has it.
Hi Members, I translated the first few pages of the bigtemple.com in Tamil, as soon as such a request cropped up from the web site developers and gave to the team. Later Haicheenu also joined me in this effort. Later, we do not know what happened to these translations. I still have those pages with me and can send to the right guy. Who is he? Me and Haiseenu can also continue and finish off the balance translations if required.
